‘His constant light will always shine in the darkness’

“A lot of the time I find it very difficult to always be in love with God and feel God’s love when I struggle daily with crippling depression and anxiety. Days when I don’t even think I can get out of bed it’s hard to see the point of life, and to try and live for Jesus is even harder. Yet it’s days like this that I have to remind myself of everything that God did and still does for me. He sent His son to die for me, He forgives me of all of my sins, and greater still He loves me and cares for me in a way which no other being could. His constant light will always shine in the darkness. He will bring you out of your darkest days and provide you with everlasting light. Just remember that God works through many things, He works through prayer, medication, your relationships and through counselling services. He has been and will always be there for you, I pray that even in your darkest days you will remember this. John 1:5 – ‘the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it’”
